ABOUT
Bio
The NWA Collective is an NWA-based, student-led record label and music collective, with a team of college students and high school interns working as producers, booking agents, sound engineers, designers, photographers, and more. We aim to promote, record, and connect bands and soloists under the age of 21 in NWA.
Signed Collective artists currently include Sally Jo Roussin and Liam Fast. In addition to the performers, we have a multitude of producers, audio engineers, designers, photographers, and videographers. Services provided to signed performers include production, booking, management, marketing, and more.
The Collective operates out of a recording studio in the Springdale Teen Action and Support Center, hosting workshops and artist studio sessions. Other Collective programming includes "Spotlight Sessions: Open Mic for Young Artists" (every last Friday of the month at the Fayetteville Folk School) and Saturday concerts at Platform NWA in Prairie Grove. The Collective team books openers for Mount Sequoyah's "Music on the Mountain" series as well.
Educational opportunities at The Collective currently include semester-long high school internships, songwriting/production/industry workshops, one-on-one artist mentorship programs, and the new RockEd program and Girl Power Rock Summer Camp.
